I’ve never been more proud and happy to be an American citizen!
While I abhor the cultural division, it’s a part of who we are.
i have been in an extremely sad and angry mood the past several weeks, My solution was turning off all television the past 5 days and my spirits have risen ever since. I suggest you try it. What we are going through right now is merely a blip in our lives. No matter how you see it.
The USA will move forward and thrive. Don’t look back or it will all pass your by,
Times change, other things stay the same. You can really only look out for yourself and your immediate family.
Most everything else is out of your control.
I hope you love hard, live hard and care for others with all your heart.
Money has never equaled happiness and never will.
Treating others with love and compassion will go a long way toward a fulfilling life.
Today on Roosevelt Road and 355, I gave a homeless man with a cardboard sign a $20 bill. He was thankful and literally ran to tell his friend. What made my day was a woman in the other left hand turn lane rolled down her window and said “God bless you” that guy is here everyday.
I think now is a time to be grateful for the amazing relationships you have and for the grace God has given you in your life.
Look hard to find where you can share your abundance with others that are less fortunate financially than you.
If that sounds good, but you don’t know where to do that, help homeless people (many more than ever as they were one lost paycheck away). You can give to the PADS Journey shelter here:
This is a terrific organization, I’ve been a board member for the past 1+ years.
Let’s all count our blessings and look forward to a bright future for our families.
Please let me know if you would like to set up a meeting to talk about your finances:
